About the Central Alberta Science Fair
We are a volunteer committee dedicated to the cause of promoting Science education and research skills in today's students. Students from Grade 5 to 12 are invited to participate in our fair, and the top 6 students in Grade 7 to 12 are eligible to participate in the annual Canada Wide Science Fair held in May.

Welcome again to another year of Science Fair! This year we will celebrate 40 years of CARSF!

THE FAIR WILL BE HELD ON APRIL 5-6, 2024

PLEASE NOTE THE JUDGING FORM is found on the website under INFORMATION and then DOCUMENTS.

PLEASE CHECK THE WEBSITE FOR INFORMATION UNDER CARSF RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE LATEST RULES THAT YOUR STUDENTS’ PROJECTS MUST FOLLOW.

PLEASE SEND AT LEAST 2 JUDGES FROM YOUR SCHOOL TO HELP US WITH THE JUDGING. If we do not get these judges, we may have to refuse entrants. If your school is sending only 1 project, 1 judge will be allowed. These judges can be community people, parents, teachers – anyone who is interested.

PLEASE INFORM ALL GRADE 12 STUDENTS THAT THEY ARE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE ONE YEAR’S TUITION TO RED DEER COLLEGE THROUGH OUR FAIR.
Please encourage your students to enter the fair. Projects do not have to be done in class time. It is a worthwhile endeavour for your students.
