Information for Teachers
Dear Science Fair Supporter,
Welcome to the 2024 Central Alberta Regional Science Fair. The fair will be held at Red Deer Polytechnic on April 6, 2024. This will be the 41st CARSF in Central Alberta. Planning a Science Fair is a year long process and involves the input of many people. We can always use help and cordially invite you to become a member of our group.
We must bring these points to your attention and ask for your cooperation:

CARSF reserves the right to limit the number of entries from district fairs and from individual schools.

CARSF will allow NO deadline extensions for entries. The deadline for the 2024 science fair is March 25, 2024. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ENTER ON THE WEBSITE AFTER THAT DATE. PLEASE RESPECT THIS DEADLINE.

CARSF recommends that schools in a district without a district fair hold a school or classroom science fair to determine the order in which entries will be accepted by the Regional Fair.

Because we are in a public facility, CARSF insists that students and their displays adhere strictly to the rules and regulations which govern entries and displays. Please do not bring your experiments with you! Please use photos or videos to demonstrate your experiment.

CARSF requests that each school participating in the Central Alberta Regional Science Fair provide at least one delegate to be responsible for their students during the fair and to assist with the supervision of students at Red Deer Polytechnic
